In 2020/21, we noticed more and more female producers were delivering coffee to our purchasing point in Suaza under their own names . To encourage that trend, and to visibly lift up female producers , we built our first Colombian ‘mujeres ’ blend from farmers in La Cooperativa Divino Niño del Horizonte. Since then, we have expanded to highlight female producers through a community lot built from other key Osito relationships in Huila and Cauca. We hope to create long term incentives for bolstering this program which we believe will empower women in a historically male-dominated industry . This lot is an excellent showcase of Huilanese terroir.
